So here it is! let me show you a new hair care product specially made for dry, colored, damaged and chemically treated hair. If you have read my old blog posts, you'll remember that I have been doing a lot of hair shows that includes coloring, treatments, styling that uses a lot of products and hot tools like hair irons,curlers and blowers. Since high school, I have been having x-tenso or hair straightening treatments and coloring too. It's hard to maintain a healthy looking hair while doing all of that so for the past years and since I have been having Brazilian/Keratin Blowout treatments. But first, let me give you a brief information on what sulfate is and what benefits you can get in using sulfate-free products.
What are Sulfates?
Sulfates are detergents that cleanse the dirt and oils of the hair. They cleanse the hair so well that they might strip down all the dirt, grime even the natural oil of your hair. Try checking the ingredients list of most regular shampoo and conditioners, you'll see the most common sulfates in the ingredients list are ammonium lauryl sulfate a.k.a ASL and Sodium Lauryl Sulfate a.k.a SLS.
There are several benefits of using salt-free/ sulfate -free shampoo and conditioner.

The natural oil of your hair will help and keep your hair healthy and keep it from becoming weak or brittle, damaged and dry.

Our hair has its natural moisture and oils. Thus, by using hair products containing sulfate will strip those natural oils out of your hair that will cause the hair to become dry, brittle, frizzy and unmanageable.

Well, I recently got to try out this Ahglow Professional Salt-free / Sulfate Free Keratin Shampoo and Conditioner.
Recently, I have been busy with events and I have no time to do both shampoo and conditioner, so I just use shampoo sometimes. What I notice about the shampoo is that, it gives off a good amount of bubbles for a sulfate and salt free shampoo. It feels like my hair is really clean when I used it. It doesn't make my hair feel dry. Another thing that I noticed when using the product is, my hair takes a long time to air dry when I only use the shampoo alone. I don't know why but when I use them both together my hair dries up easily and soft.

As you can see, the shampoo really is bubbly like other regular shampoos.
I tried to just let my hair air dry like the usual on regular or lazy days and you can see that it does make my hair look straight and not wavy. Sorry for the flyaway hair since I have very much layered hair before and still making it grow now. :) Will update the photos of my hair again.
